Emerging markets: Indonesian shares up 1% as Asian currencies ease as Fed rate hike bets grow

SINGAPORE, Feb 7 (Reuters): Most Asian currencies eased on Monday against a firm dollar as strong US jobs growth data reinforced expectations for Federal Reserve interest rate hikes, while the South Korea's won was further weakened by record Covid-19 cases in the country.

The won dropped most among its peers, falling 0.3% while its stocks pared early losses to dip 0.2% hurt by concerns over the surge in infections and the risk of quicker US rate hikes.
