Myanmar reports 12 more Covid-19 cases of Omicron variant


YANGON, Jan 8 (Xinhua): Myanmar's Ministry of Health on Friday night (Jan 7) reported 12 more confirmed Covid-19 cases of the Omicron variant.

According to the ministry's release, Omicron was found in eight samples of returnees from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), three from Malaysia and one from India after a total of 22 laboratory samples of returnees were tested recently.
