Cambodia sees 57% drop in malaria cases in 2021 and also sharp plunge in dengue cases, says health officials

PHNOM PENH, Jan. 7 (Xinhua): Cambodia reported 3,504 cases of malaria in 2021, a 57 percent drop from 8,222 in 2020, a health official has announced.

"Among the reported cases, there have been no any deaths," Huy Rekol, director of the National Center for Parasitology, Entomology and Malaria Control, told Xinhua.
