Myanmar's top student leader and other politicians sentenced to jail

YANGON, Jan 2 (Eleven Media Group/ANN): Myanmar's ruling military has jailed more leading leaders of the protest against them and the coup executed against the previous givernment in February last year.

Dr Myo Nyunt, spokesman for the National League for Democracy (NLD), U Han Thar Myint, former ABFSU leader Ko Min Thwe Thit and student leader Ko Aye Aung were sentenced to prison terms, according to a source close to the court.
