SINGAPORE, Jan. 1 (Xinhua): Singapore reported 456 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 on Saturday, bringing the total tally to 279,861. Saturday's case count of 456 is the highest in more than two weeks, since Dec 15.

Of the new cases, 187 were detected in the community, nine in migrant worker dormitories and 260 were imported cases, according to data released by the Ministry of Health.
