Thailand records 4,971 Covid-19 cases and 33 deaths


BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): Ministry of Public Health reported on Thursday (Dec 2) morning that in the past 24 hours there are 4,971 new patients who tested positive for Covid-19, 198 of whom have been found in prisons.

Death toll increased by 33, while 5,402 patients were cured and allowed to leave hospitals.

Cumulative cases in the country are at 2,125,729 with 20,847 total deaths.
