SINGAPORE (The Straits Times/Asia News Network): Muhammad Adam Muhammad Lee was due to start a computer engineering diploma course in 2015 when he was knocked down by a car that mounted the kerb outside Hougang Stadium.

As a result of the accident, Adam, who is now 30, suffered a multitude of severe and permanent injuries and became mentally incapacitated.
