Tobacco industry wields little influence over Brunei

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Nov 22 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): The Global Tobacco Industry Interference Index 2021 published by Stopping Tobacco Organisations and Products (STOP) this month ranked Brunei at number 15, in terms of countries least influenced by the tobacco industry.

Analysing 80 countries, the index showed that only five countries (Brunei, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, France and Uganda) had the least Tobacco Industry (TI) interference.
