JAKARTA (The Jakarta Post/Asia News Network): Through a home minister instruction issued on Monday (Nov 1), the government has upgraded Jakarta to the lowest level of the multitiered public activity restrictions (PPKM), at least until Nov 15, as new daily cases in the capital have been consistently in the low three digits over the past few weeks.

Although a number of social curbs have remained the same, such as the maximum capacity allowed for in-school learning, which remains at 50 per cent, the new level 1 curbs have also introduced new limits for a number of public places.
