BANGKOK, Nov 2 (Bernama): Thailand has aimed to step up its climate change ambition by increasing its Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) to 40 per cent, and aims to reach the Net Zero Emissions in 2050.
Speaking at the World Leaders Summit of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow, United Kingdom, Thailand’s Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O-Cha underscored the country’s commitment and willingness to be more aggressive in addressing the climate change challenges.
