YANGON, Sept 16 (Eleven Media Group/ANN): The European Union (EU) and the French Embassy in Myanmar announced on September 15, the International Democracy Day, they have unanimously recognised the results of the 2020 general election.
The EU has said in a statement that it is committed to defending and promoting the foundations of democracy on International Day of Democracy and on February 1, Myanmar's democratic transition was set years behind.
