Indonesia reports over 10,000 new Covid-19 cases, 591 more deaths as landslide in Sumatra kills five


JAKARTA, Aug. 28 (Xinhua): The number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 10,050 within one day to 4,066,404, with the death toll adding by 591 to 131,372, the country's Health Ministry said on Saturday.

According to the ministry, 18,594 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of patients recovering from COovid-19 to 3,707,850.
