Vietnam reports record high daily Covid-19 cases; total now is above 15, 000

HANOI, June 26 (Xinhua): Vietnam reported 738 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday, the highest daily tally since the pandemic hit the country, with the majority detected in the southern Ho Chi Minh City, according to the Ministry of Health.

The new infections included 727 locally transmitted and 11 imported cases, bringing the total tally to 15, 275, the ministry said in its latest report.
