HO CHI MINH CITY (Vietnam News/ANN): Exports of fruits and vegetables were worth US$2.06bil in the first six months of this year, up 17.4 per cent year-on-year, and are expected to reach a record $4 billion this year.
Đặng Phúc Nguyên, general secretary of the Vietnam Vegetables Association, said exports would increase sharply this year since importing countries are recovering economically, leading to an increase in demand.
