MANILA, June 6 (Xinhua): The Philippines' Department of Health (DOH) reported on Sunday 7,228 new Covid-19 infections, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the South-East Asian country to 1,269,478.
The death toll climbed to 21,898 after 166 more patients died from the viral disease, the DOH said.
