DPM advises taskforce to tighten lockdown rules

THE National Taskforce for Covid-19 Prevention and Control must intensify efforts to enforce the measures introduced by the government to prevent the spread of the virus, Deputy Prime Minister and taskforce chairman Prof Dr Kikeo Khaykhamphithoune said.

Prof Kikeo, who chaired a recent Covid-19 consultation meeting, instructed those present to ensure that the rules laid down to contain the virus were complied with and that careful consideration be given to the possibility of easing curbs.
