Ung Chanthouk – the former two-star National Police general who was arrested in Phnom Penh along with two accomplices for violating the government-imposed lockdown order amid the ongoing community outbreak of Covid-19 – has been sentenced to 18 months in prison.
Chanthouk’s accomplices each received one year, according to Phnom Penh Municipal Court spokesman Kuch Kimlong.
