Cambodian PM advises authorities to ban wedding parties, ceremonies amid highest daily Covid-19 outbreak

PHNOM PENH, March 16 (Xinhua): Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen has advised municipal and provincial authorities to impose a temporary ban on wedding parties and other ceremonies in a bid to stem the Covid-19 community outbreak.

Cambodia on Tuesday confirmed 105 new Covid-19 cases, the highest single-day number of COVID-19 infections since the disease hit the kingdom, said a Ministry of Health (MoH) statement.
