Philippines' total external trade shrinks by over 11% in January


MANILA, March 13 (Xinhua): The Philippines' total external trade in goods in January 2021 declined 11.1 per cent from a year earlier to US$13.40 billion, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has announced.

"This was faster than the annual decrease in the previous month of 4.2 per cent," the PSA said in a report. In January 2020, the annual rate was recorded at 1.5 per cent.
