Laos: Disaster management body calls for better coordination as govt records imported Covid-19 case


VIENTIANE, March 13 (Vientiane Times/ANN): The National Disaster Management Committee will improve coordination between central and local authorities, to better prepare for disaster responses including post-disaster needs assessments.

The topic was discussed at a meeting of the committee recently which was led by the Minister of Labour and Social Welfare and committee Vice Chairman, Dr Khampheng Saysompheng. Also present were deputy ministers and other officials.
