Emerging Markets: Thailand and Indonesia make good gains as most Asian currencies strengthen against the dollar

The dollar index weakened against a basket of six major currencies, after falling 0.6% on Friday, as data at the end of last week showed the US economy created fewer jobs than expected in January.
