TAIPEH. OCT 10 (dpa): In a National Day address, Taiwan's President Tsai Ing-wen on Saturday said Taiwan is willing to enter into a dialogue with Beijing as democracy, peace and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific are currently facing serious challenges.
"As long as the Beijing authorities are willing to resolve antagonisms and improve cross-strait relations, while parity and dignity are maintained, we are willing to work together to facilitate meaningful dialogue," Tsai said in a down-sized ceremony amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
