Thailand extends state of emergency by another month

BANGKOK (The Nation/ANN): The Cabinet has given the green light to extending the state of emergency until Sept 30 in order to contain the spread of Covid-19, Anucha Burapachaisri, spokesman in the Prime Minister's Office, said on Tuesday (Aug 25).

He said the National Security Council had proposed the extension.
