Over 500kg rubbish collected during Brunei beach clean-up


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): The Rotary Club of Bandar Seri Begawan collected 526kg of rubbish comprising mostly plastic bottles in its 4th Beach Cleaning Project held at Meragang Beach on Sunday (Aug 2).

“In a short time, we collected more than 500kg of plastic bottles and there is still plenty of rubbish on the Meragang coast, ” said Organisation Chair and Past President Klaus Tomalla.
