Brunei Sultan urges ministries to work together in face of pandemic

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah has expressed his gratefulness to the nation for its ability to contain the Covid-19 pandemic, and urged ministries to work together to ensure the pandemic will not bring a negative impact to the economy.

In his speech on Tuesday (July 14) night to mark his74th birthday, His Majesty said, “I am thankful to Allah the Almighty for the blessings that enable us to celebrate my 74th birthday in peace and prosperity. I sincerely thank and express appreciation to all parties who sent birthday greetings to me and my family.
