Myanmar to introduce new bank note with late General Aung San's image

YANGON: The Central Bank of Myanmar announced the issuance of new 500-kyat bank notes with the image of late national hero General Aung San, the Information Ministry has announced in a statement.

The circulation of the newly designed 500-kyat notes will be launched this week.
