Laos records 25 new cases of dengue fever


Lao health authorities have urged people to clear potential mosquito breeding sites around their homes and workplaces to help control the spread of dengue fever. - Reuters

VIENTIANE (Xinhua): Lao Ministry of Health on Thursday (June 11) reported 25 new confirmed cases of dengue fever, bringing the total number of infections to 1,733.

The highest number of dengue patients were reported in Lao capital Vientiane, at 403 with two deaths, while 241 cases were reported in Vientiane province, and 213 cases were reported in Attapeu province.
