Covid-19 cases in Philippines surge to 18,638 with 552 new cases

MANILA (Xinhua/ANN): The number of Covid-19 (coronavirus) cases in the Philippines climbed to 18,638 after Department of Health (DOH) reported 552 more infections on Monday.

The DOH said in a daily bulletin that the number of recoveries further climbed to 3,979 after 70 more patients have survived the disease.
