Four medics questioned in ‘wombs-for-hire’ case in Thailand


BANGKOK (The Nation/ANN): Four medics accused of involvement in an international “wombs-for-hire” surrogacy scheme surrendered themselves to police on Wednesday (May 27).

The unnamed suspects turned themselves in at the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Division to acknowledge arrest warrants accusing them of conspiring to commit an international crime and offer surrogacy services for commercial gain.
