JAKARTA (Xinhua): A 6.1-magnitude earthquake hit Indonesia's eastern province of Maluku early Wednesday (Feb 2) but no report of casualty or damages was issued, a weather agency and officials said.
The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency earlier released information on the quake with a magnitude of 6.2 before revising it.
