Malaysia pin SEA Games gold medal hopes on hockey

The women's hockey team going to Myanmar will be the same one that won the bronze medal at the recent Asian Champions Trophy in Japan.

KUALA LUMPUR: Vietnam will take part in the Myanmar SEA Games hockey event for the first time. A total of five men’s and six women’s teams have confirmed their participation in the event, which will be held in Yangon from Dec 13-21.

Malaysia are favourites for both the gold medals.
