Bills tabled for pension to be used to pay housing debts for judges, armed forces

KUALA LUMPUR: The pension for judges and armed forces personnel can be transferred to pay for their housing debts under the Government, if several Bills are passed in Parliament.

Two proposed amendments - the Judges’ Remuneration (Amendment) Bill 2015 and Armed Forces (Amendment) Bill 2015 - will enable the pension of judges and army men to be used to pay for debts due to the Public Sector Home Financing Board.
