FORTY-THREE breast cancer patients in Penang who have undergone mastectomy will be receiving two special bras and one temporary prosthesis each, thanks to the Among Friends Cancer Support Group.
Group chairman Chee Goon Hoe said that the funding to buy the items came from registration fees collected during the ‘Happy Family’ forums jointly organised by the Penang Women Development Corporation (PWDC), state Youth and Sports, Women, Family and Community Development Committee and Chinese daily Kwong Wah Yit Poh.
