Taib takes oath as seventh TYT in grand ceremony at State Legislative Assembly

KUCHING: Former Sarawak chief minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud has been sworn in as the seventh Yang di-Pertua Negeri(TYT).

A ceremonial parade was held at the State Legislative Assembly ground to welcome Taib who arrived in formal regalia with his wife, Puan Sri Ragad Kurdi Taib, at 10.10am yesterday.
