Unsafe helmets still being sold

MOTORCYCLISTS should stop using half-shell helmets as they are unsafe, said Penang Road Safety Department (JKJR) director S. Jegan.

“Such helmets have been banned for some time (since 2008) but they are still widely sold despite a memorandum of understanding being signed with the motorcycle shops not to sell these helmets.
