MARINI’S on 57, founded in 2012 by dining and entertainment entrepreneur Modesto Marini, recently released its Sunset Hours Vol 2 album, following the release of last year’s Sunset Hours Vol 1, in conjunction with the second anniversary of its daily Sunset Hours sessions.
The album series is inspired by the venue’s location and the first volume featured the story-telling selections of Ibizan legend José Padilla, weaving a perfect mellow, melodic, Balearic and deeply electronic musical tapestry that was well received.
