Johari: 132 firms listed on Bursa are bumi-controlled companies


KUALA LUMPUR: Bumiputra-controlled public-listed companies (PLCs) account for 17.4% of the market capitalisation on Bursa Malaysia as at June 30 this year, Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Johari Abdul Ghani (pic) said.

He said they made up 132 or 14.4% of 919 companies listed on the bourse.
