Indians need to develop human capital

WE agree with Prof Datuk N. S. Rajendran’s view published recently in a local news portal that Indians must get rid of their culture of dependence.

But are we ready at this point in time? We cannot compare with other races as they have more than enough NGOs, established profit-making companies, bold political representatives and independent leaders to lead and guide them. We lack in these aspects. In fact, at present our people are in a constant state of confusion about almost everything. They are emotionally vulnerable and are ignorant of the many crucial policies and even benefits for which they qualify.
