Give English the priority it needs

I REFER to the letters by Prof Datuk Ir Dr Wan Ramli Wan Daud, “English not only language of science” (The Star, Feb 22) and Narinder Pal Singh “Studying in BM just as good” (The Star, Feb 23).

English may not have a monopoly on knowledge acquisition but it is an extremely important language that we need to master, and this is the real issue I think.
