Body found floating in lake in PJ


PETALING JAYA: The body of a woman was found floating in Tasik Taman Jaya here on Monday morning (Feb 15).

“At 10.09am, police received word from the public about the find," Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal said in a statement.

“According to a witness who worked there, the victim was seen earlier exercising near the lake.

"The witness believed that the body found floating in the lake was the same woman he had seen earlier in the day," Nik Ezanee said, adding that no identification documents were found on the body.

No criminal elements were found, he said.

“The case has been classified as sudden death pending the results of the post mortem, ” he said.
