Malaysian arrested in Thailand after snatching bag of New Zealand woman

BANGKOK: A Malaysian man was arrested in Chiang Rai suspected of snatching a New Zealand woman’s handbag.

According to The Nation, Thai police identified the man as Asri Awng, who alleged that he came to Thailand to look for his wife but failed to find her and ran out of cash.
