High Court dismisses university's bid to get RM50,000 from student


KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court has dismissed an application by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) to get RM50,000 as security of costs from a 21-year-old student.

High Court judge Justice S. Nantha Balan dismissed the application against Asheeq Ali Sethi Alivi after hearing submissions in chambers from both parties on Wednesday.
