Johor police to haul up netizens over fake 'abandoned baby' posting

BATU PAHAT: Police will haul up those responsible for sharing on social media a photo and false information of a baby found abandoned in a drain at Pekan Rengit.

Batu Pahat OCPD Asst Comm Wahib Musa said the posts, which were being circulated via the WhatsApp messaging app, proved to be baseless following checks by his men in the mentioned area.
