Father-and-son drama at court, tough love prevails

IPOH: It was a dramatic morning at a Sessions Court here Wednesday as a son went down on his knees, begging his father to post bail for him.

M. Herry Dass (pic), 26, who on June 24 was allowed a RM3,000 bail by the court after claiming trial to gang robbery, kept calling out to his father, “Appa, appa ...please, please, please,” while holding on to the older man’s arm.
