UEC rejection may be due to misconception, says Chong

SHANDONG (China): Calls to reject the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) by a local student group may be due to a misconception about Chinese independent schools, said Deputy Education Minister Datuk Chong Sin Woon.

“The UEC, in fact, is already accepted by local private universities. The examination is recognised by the Malaysian Qualification Agency.
