A man fought off a crocodile for about 40 mi­­nutes and suffered serious injuries on his upper left thigh in Pasir Puteh, Kelantan, reported Utusan Malaysia.

The victim, Ibrahim Noor, 58, said he was catching prawns with his friends in the Gong Ketereh river at about 8.30pm on Tuesday when the incident happened.
