Court postpones case against Chegubard and two others under PAA to May 14

KUALA LUMPUR: The Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court postponed the case against Badrul Hisham Shaharin and two other Solidariti Anak Muda Malaysia (SAMM) members under the Peaceful Assembly Act before charges against them were even read out.

Badrul Hashim, or popularly known as Chegubard, together with Mohamed Bukhairy and SAMM propaganda director Edy Nor Reduan were set to be recharged on Friday under Section 9(1) of the PAA for failing to notify police 10 days before organising a rally protesting the price increase of goods and the introduction of the Goods And Services Tax (GST).
