KLANG: Cigarette smugglers have started doubling the horsepower of their speed boats in a bid to outrun Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) officers.
MMEA southern region enforcement chief Maritime First Admiral Adon Shalan said observations for more than six months showed they were now using higher-powered speed boats.
