Josiah Ng recuperating after crashing in keirin at Track World Cup round in Mexico


PETALING JAYA: National track cyclist Josiah Ng suffered broken ribs, collarbone and punctured his lungs after a crash in the keirin event at the Track World Cup round in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

Josiah, a three-time Olympian for Malaysia, was involved in a crash in the first round of keirin where he battled alongside team-mate Azizulhasni Awang in the second heat. Azizulhasni, however, was not involved in the crash and went on to finish sixth in the final.
