Woman hires 10 men to beat up ah long

A 30-year-old loan shark was beaten up by 10 men at a house in Bukit Serdang when he went to collect money from the borrower on Tuesday night. According to Serdang Deputy OCPD Supt Lee Wai Leong, the victim was so badly battered in the attack that he had to call a friend to pick him up and send him to Hospital Serdang. The victim received 20 stitches on his head and was bruised all over his body. It is understood that the borrower, a woman, had earlier called the victim and lied to him saying she wanted to pay the loan. However, the ah long was ambushed and bashed up by 10 men when he arrived at the woman's house. "The victim was still unable to speak and remained half conscious. Police are still identifying the suspect," Supt Lee said. It is suspected that the woman had arranged the attack as she was angry with the loan shark as she had failed to settle the loan after paying a hefty sum.
